I used to suck at business.
Studio 4:13 Photography. Yeah, I know. You've never heard of it. That's because I started this "photography studio," if you even want to call it that, out of the smallest bedroom in my parents' house. I don't know that I ever brought in a client who wasn't related to me. It was bad. But cut me some slack ... I was only 11 after all!
Fortunately, it didn't stop there. Because I'd be broke if it did.
I've upped my game.
I tell you that fun little anecdote about my failed business because I want you to know that I understand how hard it is to run a business. When you have bills to pay, mouths to feed, and clients to impress, I know how hard it can be to keep your company's image strong. In the small business and nonprofit sectors, I have found that marketing often takes the back seat. Maybe it's because the day-to-day operations take precedent. Or because employees simply don't know where to begin.
That's where I come in!
I can help you build an awesome brand!
Here at Sefton Creative Co., you are my top priority. Through the years, I have been able to build brands for several small businesses and nonprofit organizations in Indiana. I pride myself on being the small-town alternative to the big-city agency. Like the big guys, I pursue excellence, but unlike them, you are more than a customer ID number or the bottom line on your invoice. My clients often become my friends!
I am passionate about building and developing creative, sustainable brands. I believe that your organization has a story to tell, and my job is to help you tell that story to your audience. Here at Sefton Creative Co., I wear several hats (which is weird because I don't like hats). I build websites. I create graphics. I write stories. I take photos. I shoot videos. Why? Because each of these branches of media is needed to help you connect your message to your market.
I'm a business administration major and an entrepreneurship minor. I've co-founded and directed a nonprofit. I've served on the boards and committees for many others. I'm a serial entrepreneur. I get what it takes to equip small businesses and nonprofits capitalize on the unique value they bring to the market. And I'd love to help you, too!
I've had the honor of working with awesome organizations like:
Decatur County Community Foundation, First Financial Bank, Decatur County REMC, Lincoln Realty,
Hope Area Chamber of Commerce, and more!
